 Each
year, VVA 712 members participate in Cruise For Kids, a
fund raiser for Easter Seals which provides handicapped children
a special boat ride on sail and power craft along the Chesapeake Bay.
This July, VVA 712 President Irv Furman captained his sailboat in
the Baltimore Cruise For Kids with the aid of VVA712 VP Tory Salvia.
VVA 712 Secretary/Treasurer Al Grant coordinated tent setup, food
line, and other land chores. VVA 712 member Steuart Reiss
provided direction for 8 Annapolis High School JNROTC cadets who
assisted with shore-side activities. Answering VVA 712's call of help
were members from other Maryland VVA chapters, including VVA 451 from
