I WANTED TO PUT A LARGER VERSION OF THIS PHOTO ON THE SITE. I HAD PLATOON T-SHIRTS MADE UP. THE GUYS SEEMED TO LIKE THEM. THE UNIT WE WERE ATTACHED TO HAD TASK FORCE TSHIRTS BUT UNFORTUNATELY DID NOT INLCUDE OUR PLATOON OR THE NATIONAL GUARD MECH INFANTRY COMPANY THAT WE WERE ATTACHED TO. THE WOLVES SPORTED THEIR TSHIRTS PROUDLY!

SGT HORNE SPORTS A CHRISTMAS TREE WE BOUGHT IN THE CITY OF BRCKO ONE EVENING BEOFORE XMAS. THE HOLIDAYS WERE INTERESTING OVER HERE. UNFORTUNATELY THE CAMP WE WERE ATTACHED TO DIDN'T PLAN ANYTHING SPECIAL FOR THE MEN. THE PLATOON SERGEANT AND I HAD A LITTLE PIZZA PARTY AND GAVE OUT SOME GIFTS.

The wolves had the pleasure maintaining QRF (Quick Reaction Force) for another platoon one snowy day. Of course every stop you make the kids come out to greet us. This mission was in a small Muslim town in the foothill south of our camp.

Some of the Locals were kind enough to show the redwolves the mines they were growing in their back yard. SFC Lose takes down information to report back to higher to hopefully get these mines removed.

Red Wolves

This is my first entry. I haven't followed this much since we have been in country. I was asked half way through our deployment why 1st platoon had no entries. When I looked into it I found that we only had one soldier who offered to participate. Unfortunately, he must have forgot.
Nonetheless, I am now here to provide you with updated information and pictures on A Troop's best platoon.
After a long hard winter in the North at Camp McGovern we have moved to Eagle Base to come together as a Troop. I believe this move is good for the guys as our former assignment was a bumpy road to say the least.
Now- working for the Joint Military Affairs performing various missions such as weapons storage site inspections, de-mining checks, and training and movement checks of the entity armed forces. This new mission is very rewarding. It provides the opportunity to see the entire country and the missions have a more tangible purpose.
The only challenge here at Eagle Base is that the entire troop was spread across the entire base, both in living quarters and in their assigments. Everyone is doing well.
I am going to see about getting some pictures on this as I think that is what most people want to see...
