Poverty and Kids

Gypsy boy Click photo for larger view. There is quite a bit of poverty in this country. The people are very friendly and open. This picture is of a young Gypsie (Roma) boy. He and about a dozen other children were running into traffic begging for candy, money, toys, etc. They especially love Pepsi.
We are upbeat in our jobs, and know that war would start again the minute the Americans leave the country. This has been stated many times by some of the locals. Will send another update soon.

The Livestock are The Mine Detector

Rural Bosnia
Hey, sorry about the late entry but, as you can imagine, we've been pretty busy.
Due to the current world situation, you can imagine that we are quite busy. My duties send me to all parts of the American Sector of MND(N) -- Mult-National District (North). Have been able to see some very beautiful countryside. However, the scars of battle are still very evident and I will send some images soon. The picture with this entry is standard for the rural areas. Goats, sheep, and cattle are a permanent fixture on the roads. I am lead to believe that the herder follows in their foot steps for a reason. There are over a million mines still in place in this country. The livestock are the mine detector.
